2008 Bowl for Kids’ Sake

It’s that time of year again!! Grab your friends, family, neighbors or come on down by yourself because it’s Bowl For Kid’s Sake 2008! Please join us April 5, 2008 for the Community Bowl and April 6, 2008 for the Retail Bowl at Park Bowl in Bellingham, WA.

This is your opportunity to get out and make a difference in the lives of the at-risk children of Whatcom County. By raising funds you are able to help keep our mentoring programs going and provide new children the opportunity to establish a relationship with a caring adult. And don’t worry if you can’t bowl…it’s just time for some BIG FUN!!

On behalf of our “Littles”, “Bigs”, and staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Washington, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all participants and volunteers who helped make the 2007 BFKS such a hit! Let’s do it again in 2008! It’s a Chance For Everyone to Get Involved. It is Fun and Easy to Participate!

Each Bowler Receives Free Gifts and Many Chances to
Win Great Prizes:

• To get involved, you simply form a team of up to five members, collect pledges, and the go bowling!
• Team Captains recruit four other bowlers (roommates, friends, family, co-workers, or anyone else you know, whether they know how to bowl or not). Individual bowlers are welcome too.
• Once you turn in a team roster, your team will be mailed pledge sheets.
• Each team member is encouraged to collect $100 in pledges on behalf of “Littles” in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
